Well I was in one of the local Canadian Tire store today . in the hunting pro shop they had a Browning maxus hunter 3" chamber 26"barrel displayed for 1499.99 . sweet deal as they are now pretty much in the $1800 range any where else . at $300 off be for taxes I had to buy it . we do up the paper work and the young fellow escorts me with the gun to the main cash at the front doors . the clerk rings it through and the price comes up 1299.99 Sweeter deal :d . I look at the clerk kind of surprized . she says yes that is the correct price an other $ 200 off the hang tag . so I am ecstatic and out the door with a new in the box maxus hunter for under $1500 bucks .woo hoo :dancingbanana:.

Sweet deal! Looks to have some nice walnut to boot. Well done.

Reminds me of when I bought my Browning Silver. I walked into Bass Pro looking to buy my first semi-auto after years of shooting a double gun. I went in to look at some budget autoloader that was advertised in the flyer. Ended up walking out with a new Silver Hunter with nice walnut stocks and a 30" barrel for $649! I didnt have to ask twice what the price was....my only mistake was not buying the rest of the inventory.

I bought a Benelli M4 from the Rocky Mountain House store for $2000.00, and at the till they drop another $200.00 some type of promotion if you spent so much that day. Good deals to be had just need to watch for them, they have my business.

My Canadian tire has cleared most of the hunting section. No ammo avail and no firearms at all. Too close to the GTA Commune I guess.
Nice score can't be much more than or probably less than cost there

Canadian Tire has some sweet deals on rifle. I was humming and hawing on a Winchester Mod 70 Extreme Weather locally and it was $300 cheaper than anywhere else I had seen them.

That Canadian Tire store in Rocky Mountain House often has some very nice higher end firearms on display for sale that you don't normally see at a Canadian Tire Store. I have seen Cooper's, Sako's and Montana's and others in that store.
