my email inbox has suddenly been inundated with requests about the new stocks.... thanx claven hehehe
so here is brief rundown on the features of the new stocks.
widened anshutz type forstock(best way i can describe it), side venting optional
compatable with all current handguard models
the grip/buttstock adaptor is the same i have been using in the usgi stock mod M14s-cqb and positions the buttstock stock in line with the bore, changing the handling profile of the m14 significantly
forestock is parrallel to the bore and rail options will be from a forward bipod rail to a 12" full rail... and anything in between. sides can handle up to a 5 inch rail if requested.
The stocks are also a ONE PIECE construction with the adaptor afixed at the beginning of manufacture so as to be 100% imbedded to the one piece custom composite finished product.
ONE person (satain) other than myself has seen a semi finshed version of the new stock and i plan to keep it that way untill i release pics and video and start taking orders. Over the past few months i have designed, destructive tested and experimented with the best ratios of materials and resins to come up with the lightest, strongest stock possible.
i am also going to have some professional images and video taken prior to release date and this is happening the first week of June.
I have also hired staff that will be hard at work producing the new stocks once i open the shop after my move.
something to bear in mind though, human hands make every stock from the ground up, these are not "machine produced" , every stock will be a custom crafted piece with every attention paid to detail and the effort to produce a top shelf product.
I'm very pleased with how this has all come together, would have liked it to have been sooner, but the delay means a better product for the end user.
so... buy a akm...... buy a vltor or a sage or a troy...... or wait till you can buy one of my stocks...... I can't be worried about that, people buy what they buy when they want it
I could have released these a few months ago but have commitments to my many clients and decided, with the move coming, to concentrate on the work on my bench and put all new custom stock work on the side until i A) chose the appropriate staff and B) finished the move and C) close the bench and dedicate my time to getting stock production rolling.
I made a plan and am sticking to it....... and boy , won't i look like a royal dumbass if I don't follow through LOL
patience my friends, it will all be worth the wait.
