When is Elk Season in CAN?

Im itching to see Elk hunting photos!!!

I see some have started to Hunt Deer, an I see there is a Deer hunting thread already, so im guna get in an start a thread for all your elk hunting photos, allll of them!

Elk get my blood pumping , ive been up close to a farmed Elk down here in Victoria, Australia but most of the time the Antlers are sawn off to ward off poachers! I may be getting one of the Casts in due time but for now CanadianGunNutz.com is my Elk fix

Hoping you guys can remember the camera for the little aussie fella an snap away whilst out in the field!

Would love to see live pics, terrain, camp and of course some Bull Elk trophy photos, aswell as Cows.

Elk season in Saskatchewan starts mid September for rifles hunting. End of August for archery. Sorry but I won't be able to add more to this post. Too busy at work to get out.

No pics from me. We ended early as all we saw were wolves.... No elk sign at all in the area... Just howling.

Saw lots of wolf sign. Didn't hear any elk, none replied to calls either. Very warm as well. Went home a 2 days early as it seemed futile.
