When you can't find the right dipper...

I was doing a test batch of 38 S&W with some new Starline brass and Missouri Bullet Company 145gr Hi-Teks. The starting load works out to be 0.21cc and the smallest Lee dipper is 0.3cc. Easiest solution was to print one when I was priming and prepping the cases. I found an editable file on Thingiverse and did a rough print. Since the volume is correct I will do a cleaner one tomorrow.
The 3D printer is by far the most useful thing I have in my shop now... I have made so many widgets and things to solve silly problems like this.

That's what I used to do, with a 3" common nail for a handle, and for years was my go to measure for 5 grs of Unique, which would frequently hang up in a thrower.

That was one thought we had. This was easier as I had the printer just sitting there and I could just tell it to go and in 20 min I had the dipper.

A couple of times over the years, I just packed a bit of paper in a dipper to take up space. Worked okay.
