Who else has this problem !? lmao ! I was looking at a tikka t3 light heavy barrel varmint.. Roughly 1200.. A savage heavy barrel will cost me 500 and shoot just as well ! lol

The bolt may be a little more "sloppy" and stock not desirable. I can slap a good optic and a boyds stock on the savage and still have ammo money left over from the price of the tikka ! Lol

Sure the savage doesn't have a stainless heavy barrel (that I can find, any help? Shorter the better!) but hey for half the price I can go without the stainless... Yes heavy barrel is a must !

So who else suffers the savage addiction ?

Savage m12 come in stainless heavy barrel. Not sure what call your after.

I have always wanted a stainless 22-250 right bolt left port.

i always wondered this my self some times. i own a tikka t3, its not all pretty, but it shoots strait...was it worth it? well lets just say i pick up a savage some times and try to tell my self"yea it was the right choice".

Yea, I mean ive gone and picked up 3 grand rifles... Had to convince myself it was worth it.. In the end sold them lol. (semi autos)

As for bolt guns, I cant get away from savages ! Ive had my hands on tikkas, nice bolts... Decent stocks... That price though ! lol

There is so much more to a gun than the size of the grouping.

If you don't get that, it's almost pointless to try to explain it.

If you'd feel the same driving down the road in a Ford Mustang compared to an Audi S5 because they're the same speed, then you wouldn't get it.

There is something to be said for build quality and pride of ownership.

You can tell by my handle that I'm a savage fan. That being said, I bought a tikka last fall and have been really enjoying it. It won't be my last. But I won't be liquidating my savages either.
