Where are all the 10/22 Takedowns?

For the extra $100 it's not worth the novelty. I picked up a 10/22 stainless for $300 and I couldn't be happier. Mod'd it with the ATI stock and a couple HC3R mags and cheap red dot. I purposely didn't buy the take down, as that was all I could find for months.

Prairie Gun Traders in Avonlea, SK had one listed on their website as of Tuesday. I bought a 10/22 for the gf from them a while back. They were pleasant to deal with and delivery was fast. I also own a 10/22 takedown for myself that I use for hiking/snowshoeing and I love it. Hope that helps!

Yeah Green Skull I know what you're saying but I like the idea of it. BTW how are those HC3R mags, do they feed reliably?

Thanks for the info guys

Boyds evolution in sky
over the years I've had a dozen or so boyds stocks - most of them in this style - just love the feel & fit of them
The take down is worth the extra IMO - and the case is pretty slick - that said , if my tax returns don't come SOON I think she might go on the block ( why cant we sell blood here ? ) lol :)

Thats pretty slick, what stock is that?

Anyone have some in stock? looks like a great little rimfire!

Thanks

IF I had bought mine, instead I traded a truck for it, and had known more about it.. I wouldn't have gotten the takedown, I would have gotten a regular 10/22 with a stainless barrel.
With the scope on, it doesn't fit in the bag anymore. From breaking it down and storing it in the bag all the time, the scope is always out of alignment. I now leave it together, in my hard case, and the scope is being replaced today.

It sounds like a scope or scope mount issue and very unlikely it'll be the ruger takedown . I would start with the rings and make sure the rail is tight on the receiver
