Where are all the .338 300 gr bullets?

Darn! Just when I thought there was someone else like me who likes & is looking for heavyweight, round-nose freight trains for hunting, I realized these are for the Lapua crowd, not the .338-06, .338 Winchester Mag, etc. crowd!

Go into your local gun store and ask if they would stock some. They are all going to shows/conventions to place their orders, so the distributer can go to shot show and place the big order. Then that will be it till next years shot show. Unless your willing to spend a premium to ship them in. The people that stock the bullets "I want" say march till I will see any.

Tried the Scenars , rifle doesn't like em.

The SMK's ALWAYS seem to shoot so that is what I am kinda leaning towards.

I have a few Bergers left also, but they are also so-so , but I may give them another try.Just tough to get them to fit mag length and maximize accuracy.

The 300 grain Accubond would be great in the .338 RUM/Lapua for hunting just about anything.

my 338 doesnt like the 300 bergers or 300 smks....wierd hey, but think i found a tack driver load with hornadys 285s. gotta rig up another batch and test again....and again...lol.

anyone know where to find hornadys slick 285 gr /33 cals ????? thanx
