Where are all the pictures of the new SA VZ58's?

Any of you guys out there with the new SA VZ58 carbines in 5.56 or 7.62x39 own a camera?

I want one but would like to see some pics first.

None of the carbines in either calibre has hit retail yet, just 5.56 rifles.

I was thinking the opposite... the shape of that stock looks ridiculous.


At least you can krylon over the red barfwood, that s**t aint fixable

Thanks for the Pics Cammy. I am wondering if it is because the carrier and cover are surplus parts whereas the barrel and receiver are newly mfg'd so they get a different finish. Cheaper than blasting and painting parts that are already finished. Interesting observation though.

Yeah, Scope mount was pre-installed and I added the Bayonet just for the Pics!

Even though the scope mount looks like it has a bit of rust on it for some reason, it does not! It is just the way the pics turned out!

I really don't mind the look of the stock material on mine...I think due to the flash of the camera, the stock looks a little more grainy and grey than it does in real life. I think I may keep the skeleton stock, just because it looks badass...definitely getting a railed forestock though

Yeah, I noticed that in the pics too, must be the flash that brings that out, hard to tell to the naked eye though.

Is the overal quality of the sa vz58 better then the cz858 guns ? or are they pretty much the same gun, except for the caliber?

I would say the finish on the CSA VZ58 is alot nicer than on the cz858's....the CSA is actually black as opposed to that gross grey of the CZ858...just my opinion

I would certainly hope that the CSA is a better gun, since its around$200 more you should be getting a better gun, and I would'nt justify the skeleton stock worth paying $200 extra over a 858. I guess the CSA does come with a part of the mount for a scope.

Just too bad that all of the scopes that mount to the side of these Czech rifles look about as nice as Louvres on the rear window of a Camaro.
