Where are AR-15 barrels

What's up with the shortage of AR barrels, it seems their is lots of receivers available but no barrels to go with them. Is there any dealers trying to get some into Canada ? It's to bad we can't manufacture our own barrels.

WE are manufacturing our own barrels, but not cheap spray and pray barrels.
There are several dealer who are importing barrels as well, the biggest problem with US made barrels is that the DOS will not allow us terrorists in Canuckistan to have short barrels or 1s with threaded muzzles. The joys of being on the US  list of crime control countries:(

I believe Colt Canada is forbidden by Canadian law to sell anything to the civilian market, in Canada anyways, not sure about the U.S. market.

There are some nice spray and pray barrels out there. Noveske N4 or Centurion Arms.

I do not know about what barrels Centurion is using, but Noveske would not be what I would consider "spray and pray".
While not necessarily a true "match barrel" Noveske IS using a good quality barrel.
I was meaning more the chrome lined barrels like are used on the standard production ARs
What we are making are true match barrels from blanks procured from Rock Creek and Lilja. These are mentioned are stainless and the chambers are cut to the spec requested and matched to A bolt, not any bolt.

The N4 line a hard use double chrome line M249 steel. MPI / HPT tested.

Noveske sells their stainless barrels with bolt if customer wants one.

I agree with precision barrels you need to cut the chamber headspaced to the bolt. Both my Douglas and Krieger came with bolts.

FYI - you do not cut the chamber matched to a bolt - you cut the chamber to the print and then fit the bolt (which is made to print) and ensure headspace as tolerance stack can make or break a good shooting rifle.

Lots of top quality barrels out there, True-Flite makes them, we have no problem at all importing from NZ. One could always use a Canadian made barrel as well. Just as good as any USA barrel.
