Where are SKS's refurb'd?

Just wondering where SKS's are refurbished. Is it a civilian company or military? Are they worn out guns that are made to a like new standard? Anyone know what the history is with refurbished SKS's. I have 2 Russian refurb'd SKS's that have been problem free for me...........

Me too!

Probably refurbed in some modern factory, with highly skilled machinists and fitters.

Buying them for 75 dollars or less each, wholesale.

They cost 20 bucks to make back in the day... and selling for 200 dollars is a win for both sides.

Its my belief that the rifles are armory/factory referbs, packed in grease, then stolen decades later by organized crime to be shipped to North America, and arrived at out ports with official papers.

Somes are heavy refurb,somes have only a stock change sometime. Refurb were likely done by army arsenal.
