Where are the optics sales?

Where are all the optics sales these days? It seems that all the highly rated optics are sold out and there’s no sales on the ones that are in stock. For context I’m lookin for a bushnell match pro ed 5-30 or an athlon helos btr gen 2 6-24x56 or something along those lines.

I would think people are still buying stuff, when a couple of mine got lost at sea bought others to replace them. Still goin through a few hundred rounds a week and doing builds, buying accessories etc… lack of sales make it harder to stay away from big box stores like cabelas
 
Bushnell had a 30% rebate sale back in October. I scored a MPED for under $800 to my door after rebate for my 457. Not sure when their next rebate sale is though.

keep checking the EE. Thats where all the sales are, as long as you can sift through the "I know what I got and know what its worth" ads

have you found vendors for those two?
 
Tenda has good sales. They're one of the few stores that has regular sales. I've heard stories of them inflating prices before a sale so their "sale" prices look better, so make sure you're checking other stores to ensure you're actually getting a good deal.

Otherwise, you're looking for the big yearly or semi-yearly sales at various retailers. Sadly, most stores seem to do those in the fall/winter so you just missed them - Black Friday has become a big one for a lot of stores, while others do sales around the same time.

I don't like recommending big box stores, real gun stores need our business, but Cabelas also has good sales. Although it seems like its a lot of the same stuff on sale every time - for optics, its mostly Vortex for higher priced stuff.

Well the bushnell match pro ed went on sale for $100 off today so I pulled the trigger and ordered it as well as some Burris signature see rings to get some cant. I’m gonna try it out but I’m also waiting for the new dnt 5-25x56 to come out before I figure out if the mped is a keeper.

B MP ED is 34 mm tube, Zee rings are 1" or 30mm ?

C10 - You can get the 'complete' set of Burris XTR Sigs for ca $175 from Stoeger, then you can change both degree of angle and direction plane if the sights are not 'exactly in-line' with the barrel. Some rails or rings don't have that plane exactly right, but it doesn't matter unless you're shooting several hundred yards OR looking for those 'last few thous' on a target rifle.
And those XTR sets are not on the Cab site either.
