Where are they?

Awhile ago, I posted an inquiry as to M1 Garands and their importation. At that time I was given to understand that there were "more than enough" coming shortly into Canada. Anyone know what happened to them or have they been quietly forgotten about or has the source dried up?. I have noticed that the price has taken a big jump in Canada for a Garand along with other milsurps.:confused:
 
I bought them ALL........no touchy.

I havnt heard of any coming in but that doesnt mean theyre not.
They come up for sale 2 or 3 times a month here. Prices vary from 400 to
850. The higher priced ones are still for sale :)
 
At least one Canadian importer owns vast stocks overseas. If I were a betting man, I'd guess they were either encountering difficulties exporting them from their current location, or they are waiting to see if they can gain entry to the US market and make obscene amounts of money now that it looks like USGI arms importation rules are relaxing stateside.

Short story: Don't hold yer breath...
