where can a guy get one of these ###y beatches :)

i Was asking where to buy, i don't mind a little opinion...thanks for the tips...i will try korth group although i haven't heard of them....any suggestions for a 1-8 optic other than leupold?
 
When I spoke to Korth in May at a LE/MIL trade show they said none in the country, except for a LE/MIL demo unit and even they could not obtain any more, ITAR restrictions and certain Mark 8's have been purchased by the US military and assigned NSN nomenclature = no commercial export or sales, but that may have changed...

Not sure how you can make that statement unless you have had hands on, my impression of the Mark 8 was positive in design and function, heavy without question but optical clarity was fantastic & illumination was outstanding even during extreme bright sun. Contact KevinB he has extensive experience with his optic and can provide much greater insight than my limited exposure..

Compared to S&B, USO, Nightforce, March, IOR/Valdada, the offerings from Leupold are not worth the extra coin, in some cases nearly double the cost. Granted some companies mentioned don't offer a similar product, but my statement stands, there are better products for less money and less hassle in sourcing.

I will have to agree that I would not buy a 5000$ leupold scope. But it's your money.
 
It may not be availible anyway, but i am looking for a CAD quote and availability....i haven't been able to get a quote from anyone on a S&B 1-8 shortdot eithor....none of the sponsors have returned my emails...not sure where to go next
