Where can I find a Smith & Wesson 629 w/ Weighted Barrel

it's a pro shop model with a heavy barrel shroud and removable weights to let you tune the balance of the revolver to suit your style in rapid fire shooting. They had a .357 model at shooter's Choice in Kitchener/Waterloo, not sure if it's still there. Nice if you like the heavyweights

Your talking about the competitor, right?

I was lucky to snag the 357 version at reliable gun. Only two came in abd they waited 2 YEARS! Crazy, right?

Anyways they sold in the next week. I saw it one day then called back the next day. One was already gone...

Whoops, this post doesn't really help the topic creator. Sorry, mate

you should be able to "order" one through your local gunstore i had requested a special 4 1/4" 629 it took over a year to get it ,but it came.
the competitor is a regular production model so it should be doable. i would like one in 357 or 44 they do look sharp

That sounds cool.

Well they have some items on their site that do not have the ‘Add to Cart’ button, but these two did when I checked. Doesn't mean they're in stock, but the web-site thinks they are, and it's worth an attempt if you're looking for these tough to find Smiths.
