Where can I find an airgun for squirrel hunting?

My cousin wants to get into squirrel hunting. I want to buy him an airgun that's not classified as a firearm(he's 12) that'll do for squirrel hunting. Thing is, I do all my squirrel hunting with rimfires. This is the first time I've considered squirrel hunting with an airgun before. I'm looking for preferably non CO2 bolt action. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd get a break-action, single pump if I were you. The cost of CO2 adds up quickly and doesn't give the velocity of the 495 ft/sec break actions.
 
Crosman Backpacker or 1322 (buy the stock separately) pump up pneumatic carbine, in .22 cal.

Cheap to buy, easy to fix, lots of aftermarket support for potential upgrades, and the energy is a bit more than a .177 at the same velocity.

Available almost everywhere.

Intro airgun @ 12yrs - suggest a break barrel .177.
Simple (not that kids are sophisticated) and reliable with squirrel knock down power.
Anywhere they sell airguns.
