Where can I find Bismuth shot fro reloading?

Just checked both web sites and it looks like they both have it...$92.00U.S./7lbs
You will have to check if its o.k. to ship to Canada!

I have an AYA 10ga. Mag and decided rather than open up the chokes to allow the use of steel shot, I'd 'bite the bullet' and go for Bismuth. Ballistic Products Inc. in the states can supply it through their Canadian distributor. The address / contact info I have is as follows;
Will Bilozir
785000 Alberta, LTD
RR 1 Box 22 Site 11
Dewinton, AB T0L 0X0
Phone: (403)938-6066
email: bismuth@bilozir.net

I have to get my butt in gear and get some as well. I met the guy at a gun show in Penticton. This is the only source of supply I've been able to find in Canada. Hope this helps.

I reload steel and was going to try bismuth, worked out cost, shipping and it worked out too $1.00 an oz. before cost of powder,wads,primers,hulls.
RSI has a new softer industrial steel shot available in there latest catalogue. This may work better in older shotguns and at less expense than bismuth or remington Hevi-Shot which i believe Will also carries

My concern was not damaging an old gun, it is with knockdown power. Tungsten Matrix, Federal High Density, Hevi-Shot (now Hevi-Steel) etc. Kill far better than steel (in fact the latter two are better than lead!!!)

To buy TM, HS, HD and Bismuth locally runs about $3.00 shell, I can get TM "from away" for $2.10 per shell. So if I can reload Bismuth for less than $1.50 I am happy, in fact I could even sell some at $2 a pop and maybe pay for my own habit!!!
