I'm looking to buy a box of ammo that is bismuth not steel as I want to try for some waterfowl but alas ever place I look it's not available or if it is they don't ship to Canada. I should mention I suck at using search engines so I'm sure I'm missing what I need. A little help finding some BB or #2 would be nice.

I can't shoot steel out of my shotgun and at present the guns I'm looking at are either out of my price range or the persons are dragging *@# at getting back to me. So please don't tell me to get a new shotgun cause I'm trying.

Thanks C.K

wss in kamloops, or canadian tire, or powder keg will all stock lead free shot. im sure even wally mart in kamloops had some last time i checked.

WSS should have Kent Impact Tungsten matrix shot. About $45 - 50 for a box of 10

I've looked at WSS CT and Walmart and they don't have any in stock (WSS you know how they are for getting stuff in ) or don't carry any that they staff find on shelf or inventory. As for PK I'd have to shave my beard off in the summer before I get any service there but I will check it out. Any other places I should look?

If you come down this a-way (or you can get your bro to get them for you), many Lower Mainland gun shops offer them. Italian and Stillwater carry Kent's. Call for stock :)

Make sure you put it where it counts, they cost about 5 bucks per shell. That's the price of a box of trap loads, just for perspective's sake.

I only want a a box or two just till I can get a steel friendly shotgun or make my own loads. As for Mr. friendly he's not an explorer unless with someone so he will stay in a 10-15 block radius of where he lives and works. Only Lever arms is in that radius and they have nothing according to him. But I'll be down early January to help him in to his new place so I'll be doing much window shopping.

I believe that Bismuth shells have been off the market for a couple of years. The owner of the company passed on and his heirs did nothinh with the buainess. Some have been reaching the US market from Europe but not to Canada. That being said I have heard that they jave just started or are about to start production in the US. I buy bulk Bismuth shot from Will Bilozir -- Works great on Ducks.
Cheers/luck, John

Tungsten matrix is going to cost you at least $3.00 per shot. It comes in 1's, 3's, & 5's for shot sizes. Its available in mostly 3 inch loads, you may be able to find some in 2 3/4 inch.
I shoot a fair amount of it in my 20 gauge for early season goose activity. FS

Will does not have any at the moment, but has been working on bringing in
Nice shot. it is denser than lead and can be used in the older type of guns....
