Where can I find decent Hunting Rounds 7.62X54R?

Canada ammo has some. Prvi I think is the brand name. In a blue box.

Cabela's carries MFS 7.62x54R 203gr Soft Points.

If you're not reloading, you'll have to try a box of as many brands as you can to find the ammo your rifle shoots best.
You have wheels? Epp's will have it. Shooter's Choice in Waterloo likely will too. Try Crappy Tire as well. They've gotten back into firearms and related stuff lately.

Ive seen quite a few at the local gunshows in the area. I'm pretty sure that Sellior & Belloit make them as well.

As mentioned already...S&B can be found at Epps for brass or the MFS stuff can be found a CT if you don't mind steel cases...both soft point hunting

Many good manufactures to be had in this soft point hunting round; MFS, LVE, PRVI, and S&B to name a few. If you plan to reload, both S&B and PRVI make good quality brass, where the MFS and LVE is steel cases, yet only 50 cents/round for bulk hunting loads.


If you want to roll your own, look for .312 diam bullets.... they shoot better in everything I own.
