Where can I find Garand ammo?? 30-06?

I just bought a M1 Garand but I can't find ammo anywhere to shoot it. It seems that there is none country wide. I love my rifle I want to shoot it lots, can anyone help?

You can reload to milsurp Specs. IMR 4895 and 152 gr. Flat base or 147 gr. boattail would be pretty close.

I buy 30.06 for my Garand from local gun shows. There's usually someone with a table full of surplus stuff from who knows where. Its all milspec (I hope) and the Garand is a strong rifle. If anything, the ammo may not cycle it because it's not hot enough, but that rarely happens. Can't remember cost but it was definatley cheaper than factory over the counter stuff.

Anybodies milspec, (white box, AE, UMC) will run just fine in your Garand.
PMC make an awesome milspec load for the Garand as well.
Stay away from hunting ammo, especially heavy weight stuff, you will bend the op rod.
Stick to milspec ammo with bullet weights from 147 to 168gr.
