hey, I was wondering if anyone here knows of any exceptional websites in Kanada that I could buy some new grips for my model 14 smith and wesson revolver. I am thinking black rubber with grooves for the fingers. I haven't fired the gun yet, but I still think some contoured grips wood be better then the would :) ...

thanks for any help or pushes in the right direction :)

You are kidding me right? Looking for standard K frame black rubber grips? I don't know of anyone who doen't have two of these kicking around.

Sorry, please don't be offended, what I mean to say is that there's thousands out there looking for a good new home dirt cheap. Post a "Wanted to buy" ad in the parts section looking for Pachmayr "Gripper" grips for a S&W K frame (square bottom).

Grips

Hi
You should look at the Pachmyr Professional Grippers. They are grooved and flare at the bottom, and make a comfortable firm grip. The serial number is exposed by a hole or slot cut in the bottom of the grip. If your fingers are short, the back strap is exposed so you can get up on the trigger better. Every gun show has about 8 or 10. The regular grippers aren't that great.

Good luck

On my 686 ,I took off the HOGUE grips because they were too narrow and they transferred too much recoil to my hand ( and I shoot .45acp and .45 colt). I replaced them with what you have, S&W target grips. Try them first then make your decision. GOTO www.ebay.ca search "gun parts", located "in CANADA" or look in the "EQUIPMENT EXCHANGE " here at GUN NUTZ ( LOTS OF GOOD DEALS HERE).

hoegaardenzo, I would shoot the M14 first and if the factory grips didn't feel right I would look for new ones. I am honest when I say i do not care for rubber grips; you have a fine handgun and it deserves better than Pachmyr's. These are a set of Herrett Jordan Troopers on my M15 that is the same frame as your M14. Regards, Richard :D

wow those are nice grips richardoldfield! I might end up getting a nice pair some day down the road. well, I've already been contacted by a few members offering some used pachmyer grips, and where to buy some inexpensive ones. I made a deal with a member this morning and am expecting to get 2 pairs sometime soon :) . I am also waiting to get permission to get into the equipment exchange, I can't wait to see the stuff for sale there.

thanks for all your help fellas,
