where can i get a .22lr revolver?

What are you looking for? If you want to go as high end as a Korth, pm me there are some nice ones around.

If he is looking for a quality DA revolver they are not so easy to find.

I don't know where you guys think they are in stock, but I have been looking at these for the last month and the only .22 revolvers in abundance ar SA Rugers, or Taurus, and I hear nothing but nightmares with the Taurus products.

Problem is the only quality .22 DA revolvers are Smiths and Ruger SP101's and the Smiths are $1000 and the Ruger Sp101 is unubtanium.

Smiths are very hard to find as well...

How about used? Two of the nicest .22 revolvers that come to mind are the Colt Officer's Model Match and the Colt Official Police. The Match will be a bit pricier but both are excellent DAs. Just have to look for them.

Not many dealers seem to stock a 22 revolver for some reason? If you can find the new Taurus it really looks neat. Stainless, double action, I think it is 8 or 9 shots of 22lr, and comes with another cylinder in 22 magnum.

I've been doing a lot of research on the Taurus, and I wouldn't roll the dice.

Even if you get one that works they don't hold up to a ton of shooting, and there are countless reports of problems with these guns.

The price is right, and they look great, but I'm not a gambling man....

I'll be waiting for the right deal to come up on the EE. There are a few S&W's on there right now, just priced too rich for me right now.

Echo that, did the same and I'm not a gambling man.. I'll wait as well

Keep your eyes open for an old S&W Model 17. They seem to show up regularly in the Equipment Exchange.

Exactly. I'd love to get a s&w for a decent price. Don't have access to EE yet, probably the best place to look...
