Where can i get a 6in 45 cal barrel

I need to reline a Antique Revolver Barrel and i can make a sleave or liner outa a 45 long colt barrel.

I really only need a liner.
I tryed to buy a 45 colt Barrel 6in long off Ebay U.S for $54 u.s But they wont ship up here cause of our Stupid F%#King Goverment
I dont want to use a rifle barrel cause the twist will be wrong.
I can Legaly import a fully functional Antique Revolver but i cant import a Friggin Barrel What a Filping Joke this goverment should be throwin in a septic tank .:mad:

I need a 6 in Barrel sleve or liner same inside Dia as a 45 long colt. :)

Well, barrels are not necessarily prohibited from export to Canada but they do require an import license to be obtained. I suppose this could be enough hassle that it effectively acts as a ban.

What bore diameter do you need? In the U.S. pre-WW2 .45 Colt barrels are typically .454" diameter. Post-war barrels are usually .451". Looks to me like you ought to be able to find an old S&W Hand Ejector 2nd model barrel in .455 caliber somewhere in Canada, since so many were shipped there. They're 6.5 inches long and were produced using .45 Colt tooling so their bore diameter is actually .454".

Another plus is that they are slimmer than the barrels Colt made so there's less machining to do.

Yes 454 is what i want or a S&W 455 hand ejector barrel 6in long or longer would be great. I have got a add in the EE form asking for a barrel but no hits,
I sent an email to bits of pieces so i will see if the can get one.
thanks for the info on the barrel Dias i didnt realise the newer ones are smaller.
