Where can I get a McCann adj gas plug for my Garand?

you can get the shuster adj plug from creedmoor sports in the us, they shipped me 1 a few years back no problem

i think one of the site members made his own adjustable plug / posted some were.

'pocketfisherman", who is a CGN member, was selling an adjustable plug very similar to the McCann. I don't know if he is still doing this. I picked up 2 of them to use with slower than Garand spec powders in 7.62 Garands and they work well.

I'm curious as to why you think you need an adjustable gas screw. I've been shooting/collecting the M1 rifle for just shy of 40 years and have never needed one. Just feed it M1-compatable ammo or reload with M1-specific loads and you'll be good to go.

A lot of people aren't into reloading and M1 compatible ammo isn't always easy to find. I've been reloading for Garands using IMR4895/4064 for years but bought a couple of the adjustable plugs to use with slower burning WC755 in 7.62 Garands. This powder is too slow burning for the Garand's gas system but produces exceptionally good accuracy in the .308/7.62.
