Im looking for cast and lubed lead .45cal bullets. 230 grain RN. Just the projectile for reloading. Anyone know where I can get these. Preferably the the closest place to N.S. so I dont get raped over the shipping. Thanks:D

If you have to order through the mail, you'll be ravaged by the shipping no matter where the bullets come from. Ask your local gun shop if they know anybody that is casting bullets.

Sometimes paying the shipping is worth it if the quality of the product is good, price should still be below anything else well made. If quality control is the diff. I would opt for the shipping.

-Seen the bullet barn before, was looking primarily for N.S. I know that there used to be a few places around.

-I work at a local gunshop and as of right now we're having trouble finding local 230 grainers. One of my close friends has a bullet master casting machine in his barn, but no 230 grain .45 molds, because my lucks just that awesome lol.

"... no 230 grain .45 moulds..." Geez, that's kind of odd. 230 grain .45 RN's are the standard. His machine actually working? You may want to consider buying the mould and setting up a partnership.
"...paying the shipping is worth it if..." Not if the shipping doubles the price.

Yea that struck me as odd as well. His machine dose work, but he dosnt have the time he thought and dosnt use it. He just got it recently..maybe he lost the .45 moulds in transport or something. I could probably buy the whole machine actually, but I'm in the same boat he is, not a lot of spare time. It's frustrating to know where there's an industrial size bullet casting machine...and not be able to get bullets!

"...frustrating to know where there's..." Yep. You'd need a well ventilated place and possibly a special electricity hook up to run it too.
