Where can I get new wood for a 20 gauge 870?

Hi all,

I have a 870/20 that I want to fix up. My stock is cracked, and the slide grip is missing a piece that cracked off the front. It came to me that way, and I love the gun, so I want to fix it up. (it was deemed mine for my 16th Christmas) I'd go either wood or synthetic, and I want to refinish the bluing as it rusts when I look at it now,

Any ideas?

Look at Speed Feed stocks.

you can get after market stocks at wholesale sports or you can get wood from western gun parts in edmonton, or go to a dealer and get the wood from remington by ordering them

I think the age of the 2o matters as well. Old 870 20's were built on a 12 gauge frame, where newer 20's are not.

I am guessing this will make a difference in the size of wood you need.

If you can't get the wood locally (in Canada) try Brownells. I don't know exactly which model you have, so here's the general page.

It's shotgun stuff, so export permits will be needed. I think they handle all of it though.
