Where can I order Houge Extreem G10 and Aluminum Grips?

Also try amazon. They tend to have good selection. I've ordered direct from hogue a few times which is ok for rare grips but shipping is like $30 us so I always try to find domestic first

I also got in some grips from Hogue. The checkered G10 grips on my Beretta 92FS are awesome. They're grippy and also help slim things down. Shipping is a bit pricey though so you'll want to have multiple items to make it worthwhile. I saw the aluminum grips but didn't go for them. They're expensive and I'm still not used to the idea of metal grips.

Yes the G10 checkered are very nice. I had them on a 226. I wasn't sure about the aluminum grips either but i since picked up a 220 with hogue matte black aluminum grips and they feel really good too. I may prefer the slightly more weighty and slightly less 'bitey' (a negative for some) feel of the aluminum, but one thing for sure is that the anodized alums grips (and particularly the matte finish) will show more wear and scratches than G10, so they require more care if you are the type that tries to keep you gun looking mint.

I don't think there is much between the checkered aluminium grips vs the piranda G10 ones for grip. Did you actually notice a weight different?

I have the chain link styled G10 grips and they are definitely the 'bitey' secure grips.

i find the checkering on the G10's i ordered from Hogue a little sharper and grippery than on the Al ones that came stock on the Match Elite (which i'm pretty sure are made by Hogue). maybe the matte treatment changes it slightly? don't know.

in terms of weight, i can only compare the 220 Al grips to the 226 G10s. 220 grips are naturally thicker so maybe i'm comparing apples to oranges but the Al grips just feel more substantial to me.

That is probably accurate. I've shot with the alu checkered grips and liked them but never compared them side by side with the G10. I know that the G10 vs std plastic Sig grips are different shape however. Due to the lack of a lanyard loop on the G10, the back strap portion is actually smaller and also towards the top. The thickness however is slightly fatter than the std grips. Overall, I believe the circumference is still smaller however.

I'm not a fan of the alu smooth grips though.
