TITLE SAYS IT

I ordered a pound and they come back with a 176 dollar charge ... horse sh!t I have never paid a quarter of that much ... any leads folks ?

btw that didn't stop them from spamming my account with "deals"

Higginsons does list a 8lb jug. I have found that the past few orders i have made were reasonable.

I do admit that the Cabela's quote is on the high side.

Where are you located?

Western metal shows some in stock. I did a quick almost check out and was $16 in shipping for 1lb. Seems reasonable. If you got a couple would bring the average down.

Order 6 and get free shipping. Or mix and match. Get over $300.

Yep, 4320 is gone, and it was my go-to powder for my 1910 Ross in 303 British.
Managed to snap up 8 lbs or so. Will keep me running for a bit. Some shipping
quotes are ridiculous. I refuse to buy from gougers. Dave.

Try Rusty Wood Trading Co. also some Canadian Tire locations as well sell powders. Look around at some of the advertising dealers on this site, 3031 is pretty common. Canada Ammo has some of their Dominion powders available closest to 3031 is their Dominion 4064 which might also work for what you need.

FWIW I called Higgonson’s today and THERE IS NO 21 lb Minimum!( funny i thought FALSE INFORMATION would be frowned upon but instead i got a so called friendly warning for calling bullsh!t on it . ) There was one years ago for FREE SHIPPING! Now shipping prices are reasonable considering.... for example Prophet river sent me a lb for 30 yup expensive but it wasnt the fricken 170 that cabela’s was citing .

Canada Ammo has five pound jugs of D4064, which is very close in speed to IMR4320, from my experience.

Slightly slower than IMR3031, so your load data should be safe with it

Their best price is 5 pounds for $175 + shipping, which is also reasonable. They sell it in 1 pound containers as well, but I'm willing to bet the cost of shipping a pound is almost the same as shipping 5 pounds.

Thanks bear hunter , i only needed a pound for my favourite 303 brit recipe al flaherty’s got me covered
