Where can I shoot my AR and VZ58

Around Calgary.

I know the TSE has an indoor range but I'm interested in outdoor shooting at 200+ meters.

Where and how much da money?
 
I checked out the link but couldnt find anything near by to shoot centre fire restricted rifles that was at all affordable.

Calgary District Target Shooters Association seems like the best alternative but it's a lot of money for the one or two times I would use it a year.

Are there no other places?

^$200 for yearly membership is worth da money in my book.

Just like joining a gym, it's not meant for you to use one or two times in a year.
 
Pretty standard fare, the price seems reasonable in my opinion. I spend a ton of time out here in Okotoks and Millarville in the spring and summer but do all my shooting out here off range with non restricteds, so I'm notta huge help. Have you checked out the Calgary Firearms Center (or the name's close)? It's on #2A about 8 minutes south of Home Depot. No idea what they do/have there, but it looks big and professional, drive by it daily. Anywho, once we get guys like Head Damage (since moved to BC but ex-Calgarian shooter I believe) into this thread they should be better than I for advice, or personally I'd just call TSE and ask where most of them go.
