Could someone tell me where to get a "bird's head" grip like the one shown in the following thread?

Thanks and best regards.

Can't help on location but they are BETTER then the other style of grip in my opinion.Whole lot easier on the wrist.May not look as tacticool.

Midway no longer ships to Canada. They got their pee-pee slapped a few years ago for breaking US export rules. Sunray does make a good point though, a 12 gauge shotgun is brutal to shoot with just a pistol grip. Okay for shooting locks and hinges at pointblank range, but pretty much useless for anything else.

Might be worth it to look at picking up a short LOP stock from Speedfeed or Hogue, or post a WTB ad in the EE for a take-off "Youth" stock from a stock Remington. Really doesn't add that much to the OAL of the shotgun, while increasing comfort and shootability 1000%

Every few weeks I run into a 20 something at the range with his 870 equipped with a new pistol grip stock, or the Remington LEO top folder. The look bad-a$$, but after a magazine of shells, get pretty unpleasant. 9 times out of 10, next time I see the same young shooter, his shotgun is sporting a real stock. :)

The grip is made by Speedfeed, the SPEEDFEED® PISTOL GRIP STOCK. <http://www.speedfeedinc.com/products.html>

I have had Hogue Tamer, Knoxx BreacherGrip, and the Speedfeed, and I've handled shotguns fitted with Choate, Mossberg, and Pachmayr Vindicator grips. In my opinion, the Speedfeed is vastly more comfortable when it is fired and, inasmuch as it is also more concealable, easier to hit with, and allows easier manipulate of the shotgun about obstacles, it is also more "tactical". It is the only shotgun pistol grip that I consider worth keeping around.

M.D. Charlton is dealer for Speedfeed in Canada, and they have given me good service.

AJ Shotgun used to drop-ship Speedfeed to Canada, which is how I got mine, until Speedfeed's parent company changed hands and the new parent company's management refused to allow it to do so. For a while we were out of luck. But good news! Last I've heard, AJ Shotgun is shipping Speedfeed products to Canada once again.
