Where can you buy a chronograph? And suggestions on any?

That thing looks like Satan’s gift to shooters!
-It can’t be used with any pistols because it won’t mount to a moving slide.
-You can’t quickly move between guns (have to reinstall it on each gun with appropriate shims, etc.)
-Messes with barrel harmonics, so can't shoot for groups and speed simultaneously.
-it’s no cheaper than a low end Caldwell
I don’t get it Ivob. What’s attractive about this thing?
If they wouldn't be that assy about allowing 3rd party apps to work with their device, I'd agree.
Now you stuck with using only their app for your chrono log.
From that regard, I like ProChrono.

I bought the Caldwell and it didn’t work I took it back. The Labrador one looks amazing however it’s like 800 bucks. Is there a budget model I can get away with that still gets the job done?
Or is this one of those you gotta pay to play thing and you’re better off just buying a good one to start?

it is mostly set up that make the magneto speed and Labradar appealing to me,the Crony types are great tools also but require light conditions to be favourable to get best results.I just bought a Labradar for that reason and now selling my Crony Gamma on the EE which is hardly used for that reason .
Best to go to youtube and check out the videos by the people using the different types to get a better understanding and see which will work for you with in your budget

PACT - Clunky.
I've seen a lot of pissed off shooters not make their power factor when a Chrony was used at matches.
Labradar looks cool. Not sure it would like my indoor range, though. They used to really hate racegun blasts.
ProChrono Digital - Simple, reasonable price, has bluetooth options; works every time.
Very Happy with 'em.

This! They have led lights option too. The bluetooth link is also available in their own app and also in PractiScore. The latter one even support 2 chronographs on BT.
If I'm not mistaken, the latest model has BT module integrated, so you don't need to buy it separately (or build your own for like $10).

ced m2 works well for me
I gave a Caldwell premium kit to my grandson for is birthday, bought from Cabelas, it work great.
Yesterday we got to use it for zeroing my Ravin R20 crossbow 5 bolts tru it both the the Caldwell and the Ravin were perfect.
An average of 433 FPS for 5 shots.

been there with the Chrony and now love the ProChrono.
