Where can you practice shoot .338 Lapua in Ontario?Quebec?

You can't shoot it at Connaught either, nothing larger than 8mm. Stittsville is max 300yd. Every military range is approved for specific cartridges as well and every one can be different.

Sounds more like old boy clubs where range certification rules, has more to do with who knows who in the treehouse "he man woman haters "clubhouse.

If I owned Connaught you would be able to shoot what you like. Unfortunately I don't own Connaught. No "old boys crap". Have you ever tried to reason with the military?

Where can you practice shoot .338 Lapua in Ontario or Quebec out
to 800 - 1,000 yards or more?

Do you know any cash crop farmers that will let you shoot on their fields? OR...you could start knocking on farmhouse doors. Some farmers are very appreciative when you offer to help with the haying, etc.

St Bruno is only .308 or .223. If your in the military you can try the Farnham Military base (100 - 600yds). Mansonville used to have a 1000yd range but is now under renovation. Hopefully they will open soon.

DANGED!!!!! And I was going to bring mine in a Barrett up for use in Northern Ontario for moose bear, and if ya'll folks have wild boar, for them... since I'll not be allowed to bring my 45LC or 454 Casull soon due to the handgun ban... if that gets in. I let my father have my 454 Casull "till I need it" then I can get him one to replace it. Har Har. He's 74, but he can almost outshoot me with it.. ALMOST.

Has more to do with the Solicitor General and the CFO approving your range, than any of the above. Ricochets and ballistics coefficients are issues with any rifle cartridges. General range restrictions reflect the values of club participants, rather than safety concerns.
