Where did PCP air pump topic go?

Okay...
Well lets talk HPAP...
Hand held or Electric?

Some new, some old threads on compressors over there.
Not sure who carries the Yong Heng pumps anymore, mines still purring away nicely plus I do have a rebuild kit...just in case.

Umarex Ready Air PSP Electronic Airgun Compressor

I haven't seen/heard the Umarex running, but if the JTS is representative of the group, it sounds like a jet taking off full afterburners on an aircraft carrier. It positively howls/screams. And you are supposed to stay nearby to monitor it? Nope, not for me. Apparently the Vevor is even louder!

Yes, I know I can wear hearing protection but the boss wouldn't put up with it - and in this case I would actually agree.

Do not buy the UMAREX, buy a yong heng or a new warrior. The Umarex crapped out on me not too long after beginning use. I had used it for a couple months did my review, and then it crapped out. My New Warrior has been going strong for a long time now.

Apologies if this is a dead thread, but I have owned and worked on Yong Heng, Yong Heng clones, GX, and some of the shoe box compressors.

It's likely to late, but am happy to offer what I know, photos, test values, etc.

I bought a used New Warrior electric pump (12V or 110). $350 and it was like new. I believe new ones were about $550 at that time. It doesn't get much use but seems well built and is serving me well.

I installed a fitting on a gauge to set the max pressure cutoff accurately. It's quick and easy...

A GX4 or Omega trail charger is my favorite.
I have the trail charger, sounds like a washing machine, runs on 12v or 110, fills to 400 bar or 5000 psi.
No oil, but uses grease, and is water cooled.
The gx4 is the same machine, different color.

5000 bar? That's over 70,000 psi. Must be some really high pressure air guns.

Forth year with YH, rebuilt it three times from kits/parts sittin ready in my drawers, that is about $100 cost per year? Total running time about 67 hrs.
I am a large volume shooter, I have three large 147cc fireman scba tanks and refilling usually from 200 bars to 300.
