Where did the Polytech M305's go? ... Not Norinco M305's

From what I understand, they are two different companies, and with the recent price hike of the Norinco M305's , I am just curious what happened to the polytech ones?

Norinco is an exporter

All the rifles are made at the State Arsenal #??? ( i forget the number)

Polytechs were made very early on AFAIK. The one I have was imported from Michigan into Quebec, 1988.

Found it...all M305 are made at chinas state arsenal 356 .

Poly tech & norinco are distributers.

I believe Poly-Tech was closed several years ago. They sold 'em as the M-14S and got a reputation, Stateside, before Slick Willy's 1989 Edict, for bad headspace and other horrible things.

Not 100% true. I own a Polytech M-14S. It's at minimal headspace and it is very reliable and accurate as well.

Quoting internet rumours is very often a toss of the dice IMO.
