If you can make it work, buy a wingmaster 870 as opposed to an express model.
Used is ok.
My wingmaster from the 70's is still my "go to" for dependable and fun shooting.

yeah a friend of mine has an old wingmaster his dad had given him and let me hold it to see how it feels and i loved it. for first gun tho i would like new then as my experience and knowledge grows i shall grab a used one for sure

Absolutely buy an older Wingmaster if you can. They are much better built than the newer guns. They very seldom break anyway or wear out for that matter. Excellent first shotgun.
