Shamus 71, put your name on the list at Italian Sporting Goods in Vancouver, or find another honest dealer closer to you...the price of the Ruger SR9 should be $459, not $530. There are more coming soon...if these two dealers have them, it's because they're bending folks over.

Which is why I didn't buy from them, even though I live in Kelowna...my folks live in Surrey so it's no problem to pop into International Shooting Supplies there, an affiliate
of Italian Sporting Goods in Vancouver. See the proper $459 price online at the Italian

The Calgary shooting centre has one for sure, I looked at it last week when I was there shooting mine.

I'm on a pre-order list with Dante Sports. Their price is $447. Some places are adjusting their prices north of $500 taking advantage of the supply and demand situation. Ruger said end of April is when they will be shipping the next batch to Canada.

I've purchased from Cedar Valley Hunting and bought below the posted prices. Why don't you send them an offer? Doesn't hurt to try. The worst that they can say is NO and you'll wait a couple months for a cheaper one.

This has worked for me several times, at different dealers. EMT/Cash/Money Order will shave off a little bit of $. Credit Cards, even Debit (I think) costs the dealer a fee... I've received lower than posted prices with free shipping, so TRY.

Cabela's has it for $519 and $569, backordered... very little stock around. I've read that Ruger can't keep up with demand, can't build them fast enough. Good reviews, inexpensive and reliable...

Damn, now I want one!!!
