Where do you buy your .22lr ammo?

I dont worry about the price of 22 ammo. ITS CHEAP so I buy from my local dealer. Good service and lots of choice here in Vancouver. If you want a better deal buy lots and get buddies involved. Volume talks.

check with your local dealer and ask for whatever you want, if he doesn't have it he should pick up the phone right then and there and ask his supplier if he can get it, when he can have it by, and how much it will cost. If he can get what you want in a timely fashion and at a good price then buy it from him, if he can't then buy it from cantire, they have a much better selection than walmart, my Cantire, carries 8 or 9 different types and 3 are from Eley. I stillprefere the gunshop as he will special order anything for anyone , unlike the cantire and really unlike walmart.

I'm with Camj on this one. What is the price difference between the local gunstore and your WalMart. A dollar, 2 dollars, maybe $3 on a valuepack of Federals.

If people stop supporting their local gun stores then they won't exist much longer. WalMart will be there till Dec2012 or whenever the world is supposed to end. Cannot say that for our small gunshops. And good luck ordering some fancy gun gear like special sights, mounts, etc from WalMart once the local shops are gone.

Absolutely.

I just got back from Hamilton and went into Al Simmons.I bought a brick of 22l and cost me $22 those were the American eagle.Rather support the small guys than support Can Tire or Wally world or even bass pro Gawd they are just bulk item sales people and that is all. No service and especially wally world doesn't sell much ammo any more. Wal mart should go back to the States it doesn't belong here.

heard of a chap who bought 2 cases of rimfire at his local neighborhood gun shop wouldn't shoot well in his gun so took it back and traded it off on the ones that would. couldn't do that at wallyworld or cantire.
