My Norinco M-14 (2nd one) will be arriving soon along with one for my brother, who is new to shooting (I am drilling range safety into him, he just received his PAL). He was interested in the SAGE type stocks and other 'modernizing' fibreglass rail concepts. My question is where do you get that? M-14 specialized stocks aren't just at the corner store :)

Oh, and is there still a place to get USGI Fibreglass stocks?

The CGN EE Forum is still the most reliable place to find them in Kanada.

Right now Morpheus32 has a bunch for sale. Carry out a search for his stuff in the EE Forum. (today is 08 Jun 2006) He's a great guy to deal with.

I know the sage stocks your talking about. I want one too. unfortunatly they come from USA and cost damn near $700. do a google for sage stocks, they have a link to their distributers. If you manage to find one in canada, or some where that deals in them, please tell me about it!

Cheers,
BCtrigger

P.s. as for USGI syn stocks. the EE board really IS the best place to find them. expect to pay between $120-$200 for them.

The going price for a SAGE stock in Canada is around $1200.00 Cdn. for new.

Used they have gone for around $900.00 to $1100.00 Cdn.

There is no one stocking them in Canada at this time.

I have just received an order from e-gunparts including a stock and some sight parts. Had to pay some duties and GST. No problems at all getting this order it arrived in very good time and it was under $100.

I tried ordering from Numrich too. They replied:""" we can't sell those in Canada. We need export papers."""
I bought mine from someone that stocked before the ban... (or found a way to bring them in).

I have two of my buddies stopped @ the Ambassador Bridge. Right after they paid the toll (so they can't claim they were not about to export them).

<< Do you have firearms in the vehicle? >>
yes!
<<step out of the vehicle>>
Cuffed him and argued that not all guns and ammo were on the papers..... Lucky the guy had a hunting licence for Alaska.
<<kind of far from Alaska, don't you think?>>
yes, but is legal.

For me, is just not worth all the trouble. Breaking the law means basically that the culprit is guaranteed never to set foot in US. If not so lucky.... Willis and the above.

Whoever can order by mail, do it by all means. It is not as harsh.
I got mine from the same guy I'm selling these for.....;) ... a little discount too....
