OK so...

I've just gotten an upper half to complete my AR15. (A CMMG upper from Questar. Super product. Great service. Wow. Really wow.)

My rig consists of:

- Stag complete lower half
- CMMG upper half
- Bushnell Elite 3200 10x in a 1-piece Armalite scope mount (for now.)

When I assembled the Armalite mount onto my upper I cursed. The upper's front sight post significantly obscures the line of sight from the scope.

When I look through the scope, there is no sign of the front sight post obscuring anything.

Where TF does my front sight post go?

Why TH does this work?

Does anyone understand this?

Yep, I think you can live with that. Watch the C7(from my time at least) they have a the original front sign right in the way of the Elcan field of view and it didn't bother the CFC at all although it was slightly visible.

I use the front sight post on the C7A1 as a witness for my head positioning. Put the post blob in the reticle in the same place everytime for maximum consistency. I have found it is an excellant in-your-face reference for proper cheek and neck positioning.
