I'm trying to figure out why I can't find anything relating to optics that mount like such:

For reference, I'm talking about the scope in the second picture, with the integrated mounting posts that screw directly into the claw mount. The most I can find are pages for discontinued variants, I can't even find them used anywhere. Am I having a blonde moment or do they not make these things anymore?
I'm asking because the most common scope mounting solution (picatinny rails) for my application does not fit the period look at all.
