I can't find much online, but online will make me pay BC tax and shipping. So I do most of my big shopping in Calgary or Lethbridge as i go there a lot.. I don't know of any gun shops other than Cabela's and Bass Pro and neither of them have a the Chaippa on their website. So is there anywhere specific that would likely carry these? My local Canadian Tire has one, they want $929 for it which seems to be their going rate, but all said an done here that's well over a grand.

Lethbridge Canadian tire south has them in stock usually. Might want to call ahead to see if they have what you want, but they usually have a few on the shelf and I assume more in the back. Was there about a week ago and recall seeing them. Can't remember the price though.

Southland and shawnesy Canadian tires in Calgary both have good firearm sections iirc. As well as Cabela's.

We have them in stock. FWIW there are several versions available, and the Take Down models are the most expensive. The Scorpio is the least expensive. They are also available with a full length stock if that is something you are interested in.

Thank's for the info!. I went and picked up a Chiappa Scorpio at CT in Lethbridge over the weekend, came to $975 after taxes...that's a little better than the $1050 after tax here.
Now I went to get ammo at CT and I was shocked, $74 dollars for a box of american eagle...yikes!. I settled for a Box of Hornady custom 240gr XTP for $34.99 from the local outfitter in town. I do plan to reload, looking forward to it as I really enjoy hand loading 45-70 Govt for my 1895GS.
Really blown away with how small this firearm really is, I haven't even got to shoot it yet. That 1886 45-70 Ridge Runner looks pretty sweet, I saw it on their website.

Do you sell chiappa Scorpio stocks separately? Or is that something you would be able to order in?

Was ogling one of the ridge runners at the Leth gun show Saturday. Figured it needed some more barrel, to keep the shooter out of the fire ball! Lol!
