Eagle makes a padded rest that attaches with velcro straps; other than that there is a company called Desert Warrior Products that makes one like the Rooster but whether they ship to Canada or not I have no idea.
I have stumbled across a rather large supply of cheekrests similar to the rooster and DWP cheekrests. My supplier was unsure if they were rooster made but the sample i have is slightly different shape but essentially the same.
I'll have them availlable as soon as they arrive from my supplier. Roughly 2 weeks and I'll update my dealer add with availlability and pricing at that time. I will have 100 units in stock , please No pre-orders, save your p.m.'s till i update my dealer add.

I received my Desert Warrior order, which included a cheek rest, about a month ago. As far as I know they are still shipping internationally.

due to some events in my personal life regarding family, I have not had the time over the past 6 weeks or so to expedite these items..... especially the utg extension. one detail needed to be reworked and the cnc program changed, now i'm in que at the machinst and am subject to thier schedule. I am however working to get at least a few of these out in the hands of fellow m14 owners. I know it's so not fair to say "stay tuned" but........ that's about all i can say at the moment 
matte black, textured, adjustable kydex cheekrests will be availlable soon, I was not happy with the plastic knobs they came with so am sourcing 200 machined aluminum knobs and once they come in and are fitted, I'll update this thread and my dealer add. Post here if you want one or more and i'll keep note of who to contact once availlable.

can anyone tell me what they paid landed, all in for one of these U.S. sourced cheekrests? I am trying to make the ones i have a good deal and am going to ballpark it at 65.00 for a complete unit..... I can't see them being more than that....... interested to know if that would stand up against what it's costing to have one sent up here. figure on about 12.50 for the canadian version in shipping i'm guessin.
I'll post a pic of the original protoype as i received it. it did not come slotted for the bolts as this was to take place after i decided if i wanted to commit to a 100 of them. This cheekrest is essentially the same as the DWP, rooster and others using the dual crossbolt design. However what sets our cheekrest apart is that A) the surface is matte and very finely textured, and B) our cheekrest is longer at the front to afford more forward cheek position on the riser. Something that we feel strongly benefits most M14 users, myself included. I like a forward cheek position, something that i could not get with the DWP cheekrest.
The cheekrests are ready as soon as the knobs get here, I'll let you guys know
