I live in the east end and I'm trying to find a rifle range that is close to me that will allow me to shoot a Mosin Nagant. Burlington and Sharon gun club is too far, almost 2 hours by car. Target Sports doesn't allow steel jacketed ammo. Does anyone know of a rifle range in my area?

I believe there's a range in or near Pickering. I'l try to get some details, or maybe someone else can chime in on this. Call Gagnon's in Whitby. I'm sure they'll know the closest range to you. Lots of luck.

The only place I could find for Pickering was the Pickering rod & gun club.

I don't understand the government doesn't really want us using handguns, so they impose all these rules. So I decide to shoot a rifle instead and the only gun ranges near by are for handguns only.

There HAS to be a rifle range around the east end of Toronto.

I've given up on large caliber rifle shooting.

There just isn't any support for it where I live. (east end) I'm starting to call my area the briar patch.

No rifle ranges for 2 hours drive in any direction. Target sports is 30 minutes away and I'll stick to my .22 shooting for now.

Orono Fish and Hunt Club is 55 min from Toronto; rifle and handgun.
Oshawa Skeet and Gun Club is 35 min from Toronto; rifle and handgun.

I hear that Jane & Finch is a good shooting range......
