I haven't seen any of the Aluminum cased stuff in a loooong time. It was much cheaper than brass cased pistol ammo and since I don't reload, the savings were a big benefit to me.

Where has all of it gone, or better question, with the increase in ammo prices, why isn't it readily available?

I bought a few cases of that but it was long long ago.....

My last bulk purchase was all speer lawman 147gr TMJ and I love the stuff, way better then AE or Win WB..... wish I could find another 10k of it.

Most people had an aversion to shooting aluminum cased ammo in their guns and thus it did not sell very well. A couple of years ago they offered it under the Blazer banner but with brass casings and it still didn't sell very well. Phil.

Speer owns CCI or it might be CCI owns Speer. Either way, it appears that they split the company and neither markets Blazers under their names. CCI/Speer went to brass cases.
Centrefire Al cased ammo is marketed under 'Blazer' of all things. Uses Speer bullets and CCI primers, oddly enough. Haven't a clue who or if it's available in Canada. It's not particularly accurate anyway. At least it wasn't out of my GP.

I see empty casings at the range quite often, but I've never seen it for sale anywhere.

The Blazer line is headstamped with a NR, not reloadable, due to the case being aluminium, berden primed and the problems associated with resizing it. It has never been available as bulk brass. It was designed for one time only firing in the CCI/Speer Blazer line of pistol ammunition in the early 1990's as an economical alternative to tradition brass cased ammunition geared to the shooter who wouldn't reload but wanted cheap practice ammo.
