Unless you are a competitive shooter, shooting tens of thousands of rounds a year, the Dillon 1050 is way more press than you need and pretty advanced for a newbie. I generally recommend that new reloaders start out with a single stage press like the RCBS Rock Chucker and learn proper reloading technique before moving onto more advanced machines like a progressive. A turret press like the Redding T-7 is a good compromise if you absolutely don't want to start with a single stage. If you must go with a progressive, check out the Dillon 550 or Hornady L-N-L machines.
