I was gifted a nice 1943 LE no 4 mk1* long branch. I can't believe how nice the condition is considering it spent god knows how long stored under a bed. Luckily, the previous owner greased all the important parts before storing it. The mag and bolt were missing when I got it though. I found the mag, but the bolt continues to elude me. I tried ellwood epps and had a terrible experience. I called ahead and asked if they had any, they said they "had a few", and when I got there 1.5 hours later they said "oh we don't have any, sorry." I've scoured google and the EE but no luck? Any ideas guys?
thanks!!

Looks like Marstar have them (stripped) in stock but your going to have buy the cocking piece, firing pin, extractor, bolt head etc. etc. and make the complete bolt. Bolt heads also come in different lengths for correct headspacing. It would save a great deal of effort (and some expense) if you could find the original bolt....

EE or local gun show.
I had a fine gentleman here give me one for cost of shipping last year.

I already offered him one at a good price and he declined. It was a 72 LB serialized bolt as well. I don't think he realizes how much it costs to ship something like it across the country.

The Orangeville gun show usually has a couple fellas selling a fair amount of LE parts, you just missed it this past Sunday.
Jerseyville is this coming Sunday, and perhaps they will be there.
