Title says it all...

I can only find 155gr bullets from my local shops.
Anyone know where I can find some FMJ/JHP 135gr bullets in 10mm/.40?

Regards,

Only ones I could buy in canada were 135 jhp from Nosler, Had to buy 5000 to have them brought in for me cost $760
Next project I did was take 9mm plated 138 gr RN and swagged (squashed ) them to 40 cal will be trying them next week . Bullet look good and plateing didn't crack.

Supermag, that is very cool... I never knew one could "swag" 9mm bullets to 10mm.

I'm interested to hear how it goes.
Do you think it is possible to do 90gr or 115gr bullets to get some serious velocity?

On the light side.

My pal Rick at Randrbullets@mountaincable.net just got a 155g SWC 40 that I am currently using. Cast.
His set up is from Magma Engineering. Know they make moulds for the 10mm/40 lighter than his current 155 mould. I think they have a mould that makes cast bullets all the way down to 135grains. Magama Engineering. I'm sure that if you order a sufficient quantity, Rick would bring in/order the mould. Give him a try, he's a good guy.....

G37 how fast you want to go??

I chronyed 1500+ fps with 11.2 gr longshot PF over 190
didn't try the 11.8 gr longshot loads as 190was higher than I wanted
recoil though was very managable.
But they are about max with longshot case is pretty near full
should max out about 1600+fps and over 210pf
these loads were done with Nosler 135JHP's

Next I will try jacketed bullets to see if jacket cracks in dies,
would think that lighter weigts wouldn't fly good and not much body to crimp in case. Bullets I have changed were plated .

Rita in the lower main land was were i got my last batch of 5000. but I hear through the grape vine that she is no longer casting bullets. My fav load is 135 gr bullet over 3.9 gr tight group. Light recoil, accurate minor load.

Last I heard MARSTAR was still selling those South African imports. Not sure of grain weights, but there were 10mm/.40cal.

Impressive... thanks for posting that!

These would be shot from a CX4 Storm... I want fast to try and get more range (flatter trajectory (compared to retail 180's) up to 100m targets would make me happy) :)

I've just ordered some 200gr CMJ Montana Gold bullets and once fired brass from BDX for my camp loads (when I Non-Restrict it). Now I just need to find the 135's for range fun :)

Thanks all!

You need to check out the Bullet Barn ww.thebulletbarn.com/pricelist.html

Louis will work with you to make almost anything you want.

PM Sent :)

I've called almost every place mentioned in this thread and no one has 135gr 10mm bullets.
I can get some in the USA, too bad for export laws being what they are :(

Found 2 boxes of Sierra 135grn JHPs at my local shop. Guy at the counter sounded pretty pessimistic about getting any more in.Sorry I can't be more help.
