I did a search for this topic and came up with no specific threads. Ive been to Rockyourglock.com for glock parts. Its great, everything I wanted in one place. Is there any type of site I can get 1911 parts all in one place? I just bought the base SAM 1911 and would like to do just a few small things to it.

1911's are not anything like Glocks. You could order every part necessary to build a 1911 and it's very possible that not one would work with another, even using the same brand. Most 1911 parts require careful hand fitting, the proper tools and some experience or at least serious study of the 1911 is essential before trying to do any work.
