where to buy a dillon rl550?

Thinking of getting into the reloading game. checked the net and Dillon appears highly recommended and looks easy to use.
need to reload 9mm, 40, 223, 308 and 270. maybe 45 eventually.
any suggestions on who has them for a good price (here or the usa)

Many places up here sell them. You could also check out the EE - they come up from time to time. That's where I got mine, and got a whole bunch of extra stuff thrown in for about the same price as new. Dillon warranty is unlimited, so no worries there.

The Shooting Edge also sells them. Depending on where you live, there may be cheaper shipping options.

Direct from Dillon is also an option, as there is no export restriction on presses. Ammo/bullets/brass yes, presses and dies no!

A question on the 550B: Dillon mentions the "small" and "large" powder bars for throwing charges. It claims the small is for 2.1 to 15gr and the large for 55-60gr...what about everything in between?

The large will do between 15-60. 55-60 is the upper limit of the large bar, not the lower.

The very nice people at Dillon will sell you one direct. Just call them up, tell them what you want and give them your credit card number. You can also go to their website and do the same.

I have made all of my Dillon purchases directly from Dillon. Very good service, prompt service and prompt delivery...Even though it had to go through customs.
