Hi guys do you know where to buy cheap 5.56/.223 ammo online other than Canadaammo? I am looking for some more Norinco ammo but seems Canada ammo's norc .223 ammo are out of stock. Any other websites with good priced ammo? thanks a lot!!!! Gonna be painful to have a buch of firearms with no ammo to shoot with. :)

you know, i got my xcr off the EE in 7.62x39. i originally wanted it in .223/5.56 however after seeing this thread im happy with how things played out. hopefully you find some ammo soon HawkWei! if not, you could always start reloading... but then its a problem of finding powder.

Thanks :) After searching around, finally I find some norc ammo on SFRC.com, best luck guys, but seems Canada is runnning out of cheap .223 rounds at this moment.

No more Norinco ammo coming for a while is what I've heard. Check out Barnaul and TulaAmmo.

When you find a good deal - buy in bulk.

I just bought a 1000 round ammo can of American Eagle 55gr black box from WSS for $469 yesterday. Edmonton North had lots of it.
To me it's worth spending a little more on ammo, the Norinco stuff is only good for making noise and shooting at 50 yards or less for most rifles. Every once in a while someone has a barrel that likes it or finds a few consistent boxes of it but there have been far too many threads started on this site with guys having problems with it in their rifles for me to ever let my rifles eat that junk.

Good luck

There's a little store down in St Pierre Jolys Mb that has a crate or two of norc.

I actually got a crate of 7.62x51 from him for a very good price.

WSS has it too, but it's pretty spendy for what is essentially cheap blasting ammo. Since scoping my rifle I've gotten disgusted by the lack of accuracy of the stuff at even 100m. Tula too, for that matter. Wolf seems almost decent.

I might just get to reloading it now and sit on my remaining crates for a few years till I can turn a nice profit on them LOL

There is a difference between cheap ammo and inexpensive ammo.
Cheap ammo can be found if you look for it.
Inexpensive ammo is reloaded for less than cheap ammo and far more accurate.

Take note that those Russian ammo (Tula, wolf, mfs) are bimetal (contain steel). Indoor ranges and some outdoor ranges don't accept them.
