Where to buy drills and taps for gunsmithing?

Looking to buy drills and taps for gunsmithing in Canada. Does anyone have recommendations of where to go?
Try Taylor tool out of Cambridge, Ontario. They make quality taps & dies right there, in house. Their prices are reasonable and if they don't have what you're looking for, they'll make it.

You need to find a kennametal outlet or a machine shop that uses them. You can buy anything you need from them and they have great products. My last machine shop job used kennametal for 90% of the tooling and it was great. (Ran a manual mill for 8 years in a CNC shop, 8 manual machines 20 CNC mills and lathes)

Basically kennametal for everything other than some inserts (sandvik)

You might have a look at Cambridge Tap - I don't know their full product line but if they don't have what you need they can probably get it in.

The store.
I'm sorry, I had to. People are being too helpful and I had nothing useful to add.
LOL! Testify Brother!

Really, ANY place that sells to the local Machine Shops, is going to be able to provide what you need, as long as you are capable of telling them what you need. "I need taps for Gun Threads" is not that.

If you need a #6-48 tap, be prepared to tell them whether you need a Starting, Plug, or Bottoming version, or the full set. And order High-rock taps if dealing with high Rockwell hardness levels on the work.

If you need to get weird, like as not, they have a custom tool maker that can supply you with a 13/64ths diameter, .3mm pitch tap, if you really need one.

FWIW, I dealt with Thomas Skinner and Sons, in Edmonton, a lot, and got no few custom tools through them (usually grinds of oddball radii on end mills), so I know they dealt in custom order stuff a fair bit. There were, and probably still are, a couple CNC tool grinder outfits in the Edmonton-Calgary areas.

Machine here. To save on looking time reach out to the tooling rep for your geo area. In terms of brands, increasing quality/price are YG OSG Kennametal Guhring. Thomas Skinner distributes for many brands, likely easiest but not cheapest route. If im tapping thousands of holes in dollar part or tapping two in a few thousand dollar gun cough up the $60 for a quality "machine spiral point tap" and save the awkward trip to local EDM shop for extraction service.
